Default preventing wheel theft

I searched this forum for info and didn't find any. Perhaps I didn't use the correct filter terms. Anyway, what I want to know is whether there should be any "locking" lug bolts on the wheels of my 2004 SLK320 or does it not come with some kind of security for the wheels? I have the Special Edition wheels and thought that they'd have wheel locks like many other new cars such as Corvettes. You know, the kind where you need a special socket to remove one of the lugs on each wheel. If they don't come with them, where might get some?

Well i think it was an option and ur car just doesnt have it. Try an auto parts or tire place and then if ALL ELSE fails try the dealer.

The dealer wanted $175 for locking lugs for the SLK. Found them on eBay for $30, including shipping. They fit perfectly. $9 for an extra "key" if I want it. Make sure you know the corect thread length for your wheels (mine are 39mm). They sell them in different lengths.
