Hi i have a s class w140 1996 the passenger side rear door will not open the
central locking cycle is working the **** on the door goes up when unlock
and goes down when you lock the door.The door will not open from the inside
or outside i have even tried pushing from the inside with some force but no
luck i have also locked,unlocked dooors with remote and key a good number of times just to make sure still no luck any help / advise will be greatly appreciated.

the internal door latching mechanism is broken most likely you will have to replace the door latch assembly if the door does not open from the outside and inside its the latch. if opens from outside grab handle but not inside release handle its possibly the release cable detached from latch mechanism , best to remove door panel have window rolled all the way up , check the release cable is not binding or jammed in unlock position.
