Please help me with a small problem...I am trying to change the rotors and break pads on my MB C230 Sports 2005 model and I kind of stuck. I have the wheel off and now need to get the rotors off, but not having much luck....Which 2 screws do I need to remove to get the break bad off the rotors? And what do I need to do to get the break pad out once they are off the rotors? Any help would be greatly appreciated and if someone has some pictures that would be great...

on the inside of the caliper there are 2 rubber caps that pop off on the caliper pins, should be a hex or torx not sure which on that car. loosen them and thenspread apart the pads from the rotor, with a large screw driver, then the whole caliper should come off the rotor. this depends on the type of caliper you have though, you could also just have the 18mm screws at the back of the caliper, and 2 pins holding in the brake pads in. push out the pins and remove the pads. then remove the 2 18mm bolts and remove the caliper so you can remove the rotor.

 

Please review the attached picture of type of caliper used on this C230 2005 model... Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

those pins on top of the pads need to get pushed out, then the pads will come out.
