Hello. We have a 2004 Mercedes s430 with 189k miles. Car starts and runs nice.
issue we're having is we cant shift out of park.. I dont hear the brake switch disengaging the shift solenoid so im thinking its that but di have brake lights when the car's on. So i just wanted to k ow if there are other common problems.
also where is the emergency release on this style shifter so that i can confirm the shift mech. Is working ok
