hi. im having some issues with my car. it is running really rough. when you first start it it runs fine for a few seconds then the revs drop and it misfires then it cuts out. when its warm it doesnt cut out but when i touch the throttle it bogs out. i thought it could be the exhaust. i have had the exhaust checked and its fine. i have replaced coil pack and spark plugs, the throttle position sensor throttle body, checked the fuel pump, fuel filter etc. i have checked the timing aswell its fine. the compressions in the cylinders are fine (between 11.5 and 12 bars). if i open the throttle and feed some cold start up the air intake then it revvs straight up to the red.are there any common issues with the ecms? if i got a second hand ecm that was the same part number would it plug and play or would i have to get it programmed? has anyone had this problem that may steer me in the right direction?
