I have a 01 CLK 430 convertable, when putting up the drivers side window it goes up all the way when I release the button it goes back down about two inches. I cant figure out why it wont stay up all the way, can anyone tell me why and how to fix this please?

 

you can try to hold the button in the 1st detent for a bout 2 seconds then keep holding the button and push down to second detent and hold it there for another 2 seconds. you should be able to put the windowup by pressing the button to only the 1st detent, not auto up. you should try this a few times and usually it works. try putting the window all the way down then try.
