I was in the process of replacing alltiming chain guides,chain and tensioner(I'm not a mechanic)and in the process,i got the timing off.now,i can not turn the engine(by hand)more than a quarter turn left or right.I never did started the engine,just the turned by hand.Could I have bent the valves by turning by hand and being off on the timing.Where do i go from here?Thank you for your advice.

 

This is a job I have done with success, it will require help if u have not done this before, u are more than welcome to e mail me and I can try to help to guide you through this procedure, it is very important though NOT to continue trying to turn the engine or cams.

I will need to know if you are changing the chain because it jumped causing valve damage or simply to replace beacuse of the mileage
