Mercedes Benz 560SL troubles pls help!!!!
Hi folks,
I'm a newbie at this forum and this is my first time posting.
I recently bought a 1989 M.B. 560SL which decodes to be an European model sold in Switzerland. It has the European bumpers but does not have the square European headlights, although I have found other European cars models such as the 500SL that came with the 2 round front headlights. My main concern is that while I was driving it home a yellow warning light came on and shortly after that the car started to mis fire or actually acted like one or more cylinder were not working, a friend of mine who was following me from behind told me that the car started to put out dark black smoke, obviously some kind of a mixture of fuel problem. Anybody out there familiar with this problem,or with knolodge of where to start the diagnosis? I really appreaciate all the help I can get.
The car is located in Orlando, Florida in case some of you is near by and able to take a look at for me.
Best regards to all. I can be reached at 407 466-8887 or rtsmotorsports@hotmail.com
