Hi folks, fabs here. Well this spring i will be getting my bro's 1973 280sel. I've driven this car a few times and it hasn't been running since last summer. It's been sitting at the bottom of his driveway all winter.
I know that it can use a good tune-up (plugs, wires, carb cleaning, fix a hole in the floor..drivers side..anything else????) i also know that it needs a new right, rear bearing in the hub.

1. do you know what a good tune-up like this can cost?
2. what are the hp/torq ratings for this engine (2.8L 6 cyl)?
3. how reliable is this engine/trans?
4 are there any things that are problematic on these engines?
any info would be much appreciated.thanks
