Hey sleepwalker,

I removed the belt and the black pully is loose but when i spin the pullies i cant hear any noise, also with the car running without a belt the car does not make that noise so it must be the pullies on the left side cause you can hear its from the left side, i been driving for about two weeks like this, can i just change the bearings and what should i tell the dealer so that they can only give me the bearing instead of the whole alternator.

thanks sleepwalker,

i think almost all pulley are black.

which one is loose and which one you suspected is making noise?

if it got movement, then that depends on how big the movement is, and difficult to determine on my side.

you cannot buy the bearing from the dealer but you might get it from bosch service center.

it is better to take note of the bearing number (eg.: 4208, 2006, etc) and get it from any bearing shop / store. any brand doesn't matter (NSK, timken, etc) for as long as you get the same size. you may even use ceramic ones if you want.

waht u need to do is check to see if the belt is loose , if it is then tighten it , and spray wd-40 on all the connections on the alternater even a few squirts of wd 40 inside the alternatot whilst the engine is running , dont foget to spray wd40 on ur battery terminals , for a better connection.
