Can anyone tell me what model car this is?
I am new the forum, love Mercedes although I drive a BMW, lol. I use to have a 1986 Mercedes 300SDL Turbo and my family use to have a 1978 300D that they bought new. My dream is to have collection of older Benz's including a 6.3, 6.9 and a 560SEC. Anyway I came across this photo and was wondering what model it is?

Don't worry, I have a BMW too. And a Mercedes.
From the sides this car looks like a late 1920/30s Mercedes. If I had a close look at the emblem I could maybe pinpoint it a little more since the laurel was first added in 1926 when Mercedes became officially Mercedes-Benz and the plain ring like on todays cars first appeared in 1937.
But my guess is that it's the 1928 SS tourer or the likes.
