My C240 has service indicators on. Can anyone tell me what Service A and B are?

Welcome to the forum! Someone will probably yell at you and tell you to use the search function at the bottom of the page. Using the search option, I'm sure you can find what is exactly entailed in both services but basically - Service A is general maintenance: oil change, air filter, etc. Servce B is major maintenance like plugs/wires/transmission service, etc.

If you don't have your owner's manual explaining all of the procedures, you can call the dealership and they should be able to tell you.

 

an A service by mb dealer is oil change , brake check with wheels probably still on car (visual ), inspection , correct fluid levels
the B service is oil change ,brake check measure rotors thickness/pads , correct fluid levels , replace dust filters and wiper inserts of course inspection and possible tire rotation .
if your on (a,b) schedule you have 722.6 electronic trans which is life time fill according to mb and the spark plugs are plat. which are due over 100k both are seperate items as well as the fuel filter which is due at 60k and air filter due at 50k which rarely gets replaced probably because most dont upsale these items . any ways these items are additional cost to customer when doing a,b services
