This is for my '82 380SEL Power Door Locks

Sometimes they lock, but often, when I lock the driver door (which causes the air/vacumn pump in the trunk to trigger on, and lock the rest of the doors, trunk, fuel)...
Sometimes - none of the passenger buttons go down, and the pump runs "forever". In these cases - about half the time - if I push down one of the passenger buttons manually - the rest instantly go down as well. However - other times - it is "impossible" to push down any passenger buttons - they are VERY stiff, and even if you force them down, they instantly come up.

It seems like - maybe - the pump is "confused" and working to unlock the doors (buttons up) instead of down.

Anyway - anyone see this? is it:
1. the pump
2. One of the diaghrams locking/unlocking
3. Electrical in the driver door lock switch.

Would really appreciate help - about 10% of the time I cannot lock the car.
