door locks, trunk and fuel door locked
Mercedes 280 SE (EUROPEAN VERSION) 1985
It looks like the vaccum that activates the release of the door locks and trunk and fuel door stoped working. I has asked a couple of persons but they don't seem to know where they are located. The other thing is that the trunk key is missing and they are high security lock keys. What canI do to fix all that and how can can i get a repair mannual?

RE: door locks, trunk and fuel door locked
The vacuum pots are in the trunk for both. Try removing the back seat and locate the vacuum hoses going thru the trunk wall. Then with a tool called a "Mightyvac" pump vacuum into the lines. Hopefully the vacuum leak is towards the front of the car, not in the trunk. A tool supply store should stock some sort of hand held vacuum pump like the brand "Mightyvac". If the existing key is the master key, not the valet key, it should turn and unlock the trunk. Also look underhood by the brake booster where all the body vac. hoses are. Maybe a vacuum tee is unplugged?
