i have a problem with my door locks on my 02 cl 55, they don't open with the remote or the inside switch, only with the key, and my trunk won't open with the inside switch either .....anybody have this problem before



any help would be appreciated, thanks

 

2 things come to mind. First, the front door module may have gone, I believe it controls all the power switches on the driver's side. So power locks, windows, etc would not respond. Of course, it could also be faulty or worn wiring. Do a search in these forums for that - I've come across some posts that say to pull back the plastic covering on the "tube" from the door to the frame of the car and look at the wires inside, evidently they become frayed and just need to be reconnected. Hopefully you are either comfortable working on it yourself, or know a trusty mechanic. Good luck.
