I have a 92 500SEL and it has devloped a weird problem with the door locks. The door locks work fine with the remote or with the button on the driver door handle the problem is that if I open and close the trunk, the doors will lock by themselves. When the fan Blower switches to high the doors will lock and unlock by themselves sporatically. When they lock by themselves the car does not think they are locked because when I use the remote to unlock them it will flash the red light on the door as if it was locking them(and they are already locked), and then I have to push the remote again to get them to unlock. The Auto door and trunk closers do not work unless I remove and replace the fuse and then they might work for a couple of times. Any Ideas?

 

PSE Pump replacement or rebuild is necessary.

 

I have a 2002 S430. I heard a loud bang upon closing the driver's door and thereafter the automatic door closer no longer worked. I read a real nice post that did not address my situation. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do to get this working again? Thanks, Bill
