Default New member with a question or two

G`day all,
let me start out by introducing myself. Im Pete. The missus and I recently became the proud owners of our second MB.
A lovely dark blue 1988 560sel. We had to sell the first one when we left Australia to come over to the states.

Down to business, what I would like to find out if possible. How would I go about removing the center console to get to the window
switches? the switch controlling the drivers window decided to give up the ghost tonight on the way home. and I now have a window which is three quarters of the way down and wont go back up.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Thanks,
Pete.

Sleepwalker you are a absolute GEM.

Thanks very much for your help. It was invaluble. The hardest part was getting my fat cold fingers to co-operate out in the cold.
Once I got started it took less than 15 minutes to fix the problem. And not too soon either. The weather is nasty here at the moment, cold biting wind and maybe a chance of snow.

Once again thanks.

Pete.
