My wife needed a car that would start every AM to get her to the bus stop for her ride into the city. This a really a nice looking (1 owner) C230K with a pile of MBZ maintenance receipts going back to 99'. I think they even bought a child booster seat from MBZ. Well, we go out for our first ride down along the river to embrace the quality. My wife is at the wheel as we merge onto the highway, the more she pushes down the go pedal the slower the car goes. It lost power under acceleration! I'm thinking MAS, she's thinking "what has my stupid husband done now, buying a car with 153K on it". So, now I have become a member of a club who is thrilled by the quality and refinement of an MBZ and needs to get smart quick to keep it road worthy without breaking the bank. I'm a capable mechanic once I isolate a problem and feel I am up for the challenge. I know this is a quality car, but now this is has become a challenge to my reasoning skills for buying a reliable used car.

It's me again. I spent some time in the forum and some wise sole said for the type of problem I have, I should make sure the Air Filter Cover is seated properly. Well it wasn't so I seated it and this C230K W202 is back in action better than it was when I thought it was running well. Thanks MBZ Forum! Ain't the internet great?
