i know i should of asked the dealer but is this the supercharged version? just like the 2005's?

anyways if it is can someone give me the specs and aftermarket size of these cars.

i was thinking about putting in a front mount intercooler and putting up the PSI from the supercharger,(if there is one). or if it is super charged is it already intercooled?

so can you guys give some forced induction advice on these cars? thanks for the help guys.

 

yes...your car does have a supercharger + intercooler
the engine specs are the same for 2004 and 2005
DOHC Inline 4 with variable valve timing (intake-only) 1796c.c.
(note the enigne is an 1.8L instead of 2.3L)
189 hp @5800rpm
192lb-ft @ 3500-4000rpm

oh i forgot i keep seeing C class mercedes as either a W202 or W203. what is that the engine seriel number? can you tell me which one i am?

The W203 is the chassis code for all C-class, model year 2000 and up
The previous generation C-class had the W202 chassis code.
There are also Kleemann, Brabus, and Carlsson.
Kleeman specialize in superchargers / kompressors, they have supercharger kits for virtually all mercedes N/A models
for models with stock kompressos, they offer boost kits, up to around 260bhp i think.... the company is form Denmark and their U.S. location is in Colorado
Brabus is probably the only one that is on par with AMG, Brabus itself is a manufacture that thousands of Brabus-branded
vehicles rolls out its factory every year. But of course..those cars are still based on Mercedes models
They tune their car with the american philosophy "no replacement for displacement"
One of their most famous vehicle was the Brabus E V12, which hold the title of "world's fastest sedan" for a long number of years. It had a V12 7.3L engine, capable of 200+mph
They also put a 6.5L V8 in the previous generation SLK, and this year they offer a 6.1L V8 in the new slk to compete with the new SLK 55 AMG
If you got the $$$, brabus is the one
I think Carlsson specialize more on the looks of the car instead of the performance, but they can still tune the car to match its looks.

i just realized that a stroker kit for these things are 7k for an additional 60hp. wow this is an expensive hobby. with 7k you get ALOT more HP on a regualar honda civic. [sm=smiley11.gif]

I've got a 2001 CLK 430
everything is stock, except I got a pair of Hella xenon lights (6000k)

im still stugling with finding a boost improvement kit that lower than 5k. [:'(]

The "6000k" from the previous post was meant to be COLOR TEMPERATURE, not U.S. DOLLARS....
