Hi there! New memeber here and somewhat new to MB. I have a '93 300E 2.8L that the tranny just quit cooperating. It goes into Rev fine, it tries to go into forward but does not engage. Love the car, would hate to get rid of it for this. Any ideas for EZ fix. If not what year, model will interchange. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

 

Doesn't sound like you are going to get an easy fix. You best bet is to change the trans filter, and fluid. Maybe the filter is clogged and all it needs is a new one.
