Hello guys I hope someone can give me some advice on this subject...please!
I have 97 sl500 r129 with 68k miles and i am experimenting a hard jolt/notch right aftertranny shifts into 2nd and 3rd gear during accelaration. No engine check light. Any idea what i should check into first? Thanks

 

Reading diagnostic codes from the tranny control unit may give you a clue. This requires an advanced scan tool that a service center would have or one of the Carsoft-type ones sold on eBay for $100-$300.
