The top is up. When the red button is pushed, the light within blinks slowly and nothing else happens. The manual doesn't give any information other than to bring the car to the dealer (which may happen if it's not an easy fix)...

Prior to this, no problems with the top.

I did also notice a message on the speedo. It starts with a picture of a wrench followed by '51200'. The meaning behind the wrench is obvious. The car mileage is 72,000. My first guess was a service alert based on mileage however I hadn't noticed it before and I wouldn't think it's been there since 51,200 miles, but maybe so... Other guess is it's a reference to a specific problem.

Anyone have any insight with this? help would be very much appreciated.
