Do you ever find that a seat motor quits? It looks like it would be almost impossible to remove the seat for service if the seat is positioned too far forward or back since the floor bolts would be covered. Is there a manual over ride to move the seat?

if you will move the seat forward and backward fully for at least 10 times, you will smell the burning plastic and the motor will eventually get burnt. the spindle of the armature is mounted on the plastic which melts from heat.

you can instead take them off piece by piece starting from the seat cushion. another way is to raise the rear and painstakingly remove the motor so you can move the seat manualy.
