My wife is in the market for a sports car. Found an 01 SLK 320 with 22k miles on it for $12,500. Is this a good deal?

 

run a history check at CARFAX - Vehicle History Reports and VIN number check, make sure everything works, test drive and then check for oil leaks. I think it's a great buy on a great car. they are fun. mine is a 98 230, other than some minor problems and an issue with vinyl paint coming off some interior pieces, mine has been dependable. I have your engine in a 05 crossfire and find it adeguate in power. a kompressor, as the srt or amg may have, would probably get you in trouble with the hwy patrol. it's hard enough to keep it under the speed limit as it is. I'd buy it, if she turns out to be too good to be true
