I am new here. I have a 380 SL 1985 in pretty good shape. Love this car.
I have few things to fix though.
I made a search and did not find answer to this:
how to replace the power windows switchs from the central console. Not sure what to remove or not..?
If you have this information, that would be great help.

Hey, I just got an 83 500SL (Euro version of the 380). I am in the process of interior fix-up also. The switches are available on line at most MB parts sites. Take the ashtray completely out and you will find two screws that hold the counsole in place. The bottom end has a pin that sits in a hole, so you have to slide the console toward the rear in order to get past the pin and be able to take it out. The switches just pressure fit and are eaisily removed.
