How do you take apart a seat?
I have a 1972 350SL. I want to recover the seats. I would like to know how to take the back and the seat apart. It seems there is a **** that tilts the back. It seems to have a series of slots for -screw drive blades? How does this come apart?

It's probably the same for your car (picture) as it was formy 1969 SL. Pry-off the trim cover (#119) and remove the exposed hinge bolts.
