Hi All,
Two days ago I had one of the Air Distribution hoses and three way connector broke off, the car was shaking like crazy. (these are the hoses that sit right on top of the engine) I had some spare hoses and the connector so I fixed the problem, but now the car is smoking a lot.....grayish kinda. The starting is fine, the car doesn't shake, when I drive it, it has a very good pickup.
I've noticed that the three way connector for 93 (400sel) model has one of the opennings plugged with a tinny hole, and 94 (s420) doesn't....could it be that this is making the car run rich (confusing the computer)?

sorry I didn't specify year of the car...
It's a 1993 400sel....with a little over 163K miles.
is this smoking due to uneven air and oil mixure? I've replaced the part with the one for that year, and the car is still smoking but less.
