I have been told that I have to have my water pump replaced. Can anyone give me a ball park figure on replacing this part on a 2000 ML 430?

2 to 3 hours labor plus the part price.. ballpark guess 450 -550 dollars total

I just replaced my ML320(w/p) and it cost me $950.00...

I have a certified mechanic (not a MB master) that said he will do it for $650. Looks like he is in the ballpark as far as price goes.
