2002 - ML 320 About 10 minutes into a drive - after braking typically - I begin to hear a fairly loud clicking noise coming from under the car. The clicks speed up in relation to the speed of the car, and slow down in the same manner. It's not something you can hear until you roll the windows down - and hear the sound bounce off the car next to you, etc. It does not happen all the time - but typically 10 minutes or so into the drive - I begin to hear it when driving around town. comes from the passenger side of the car. ANY THOUGHTS? the noise is pretty loud.

 

I have a 200 ml 320! I too had the same clicking sound.

On the side of the car underneath. you will notice 2 brackets, one on each side with a bolt going through. They adjust the torsion bars. Once you remove this bolt and the bracket pulls down. Where the bracket touches the frame rail you will notice a small aluminum shim. They are $2.20 each, If you replace this shim the clicking will go away.
