hey i am new here and i have a 98 ml 320 that has the low range lite on i dont know how to turn it off can any one help thanks

 

car running, put in neutral, then push low range button, should go back to normal range.

 

tried that all it dose is blink 3 times then it stays on is there another way to do this thanks

 

TRY TO ENGAGE DRIVE WHEN IN LOW RANGEAND DRIVE IN LOW RANGE, THEN GO TO NUETRAL AND SWITCH TO REGULAR RANGE AND TRY DRIVEING IT. DOES THE CAR ACTUALLY GO IN TO LOW RANGE ( REVS MUCH QUICKER BETWEEN GEARS) OR DOES THE LIGHT JUST STAY ON? YOU COULD NEED A TRANSFER CASE MOTOR IF THE LIGHT DOESNT GO OUT. i WOULD KEEP TRYING TO SWITCH BETWEEN LOW AND HIGH RANGE A FEW TIMES. LIGHT IS SUPPOSED TO STAY OFF.

 

i think it is on low range when i drive it it feels like a bus slow cannot go fast will try what you said i know last time i took it to the shop and the guy did something here turned the wheels and push some buttons and boom it went away not sure what he did.
