Default '98 E320: horn beeps when key turned to 2nd postion

It's quite annoying when I have to start the engine and the horn beeps. I had reset the FSS thinking that this would solve the issue and turns out it didn't.

The locks were replaced a few months ago and prior to that I didn't have this problem. Could this be a contirbuting factor?

Help PLEASE?

the airbag needs to come off the wheel and then look at the horn contacts there. usually a new airbag is needed because the horn switch is part of the airbag asssembly but i would look at it and see how it works and see if you can tweek the horn contacts.

Was this ever resolved? I just changed the FSE PUMP and now this has occurred with my car. When the pump is disconnected, the horn does not beep.
