Default Heated steering wheel isn't warm

Got my 08 ML320 cdi a month ago, the steering isn't warm enough , I am not trying to compare to my other X5 but it doesn't seem to work. The dealership looked at it 2 times, they changed the steering wheel at the end but still not working properly. The service writer finally said to me, it is the way they designed the heated steering wheel, room temperature. Is it true? What about yours? I am confused.

Default RE: Heated steering wheel isn't warm

Some day your offf work, check your wheel temp. from starting to a few minutes operation.. Use asimple thermostat or thermometer, itshould work. Then drive yours up to dealer and tell themyou want to look at another 08 with heated wheel, that you want to hear radio for upgrade, or some other B.S. then start and check that wheel temp. with your trusty thermometer or thermostat.. Compare.. M.B. would not say **** is something iswrong even if their mouths are full of it.... Why you think these forums are here??

Thats my best thinking..
