I was driving along using the cruise control went I got the ESP Light Run Flat Light Speedtronic Inoperative up on the dash.

Did an internet search and I found that some site say brake light switch, upon further reading I found info that the brake light switch on a W164 is on
the brake booster.

What could be the cause?
