Question on BAS/ESP light on 2000 ML55
Am in south texas, where yesterday it was close to 90F.
In hot weather, after driving around for a while, after I shut down
the engine and after few minutes, start the engine, my BAS/ESP
light comes on and stays on. After the engine cools down say like 3-4 hours,
I start teh car, the light is gone.
I have replaced the brake switch a year ago when it failed to disengage
the cruise control and almost got my family killed when driving from
Houston to San Antonio as I was unable to disengage the cruise control
pressing on the brake. Bad design.
Any ideas on this BAS/ESP light?
Thanks
Barry
