I am ready to buy a GL450 but must have 2 captains chairs in the second row. Can this be done at the factory or after market? My dealer though that it could be done at the factory, but called today and said that it was possiblr for the factory to do it. I have called a few afer market seat companies and one company told me because of the safty standards that it would be hard to find someone that would want to take on this project.

Why can't Mercedes offer 4 seats in there SUV? I like the layout of the R Wagon, but my wife won't go for a staion wagon.
