Hello. My steering wheel is making noises whenever I turn which leads me to believe I am low on steering wheel fluid.

I tried to locate the steering wheel reservoir in my 2002 E320 but I cannot find it.
Also, do mercedes require a particular type of fluid? The store asked me if I needed ATF fluids. I have no idea. PLease help. TIA

 

yes only use m.b. fluid in your power steering the resivor is located on the left side of the motor wight next to the oil filter canister its has a black cap that twists off
