new owner of E240 and a question about a strange noise!
Hi,
Just bought a mercedes E240 auto and loving it. Only thing im slightly concerned about is if the key is in the ignition and turned so the lights come on i hear like a fan noise from the engine bay even though the engine hasnt been kicked in. I have popped the bonnet and it sounds like its coming from the middle of the engine somewhere?
Any ideas as i wouldnt have thought a fan would need to be on if the engine was off?
