Hello Everyone,

I've just boughta very nice w124 estate from a good mate last week and everything works fine but there's something that is making a funny noise when driving along.

The car is a 200 TE auto from 1992, there is a noise from the gearbox when driving wich is not too loid but noticable.
A mechanic told me that is was problably the gearbox bearing wich was a bit used and that I have 99% chance that I doesnt get worse.

What do you think ?? is it a big deal ? how much to put right ??

I about to go on a long holidays with it...
