Maybe I'm just overlooking something totally here but my manual shows that my 2002 E-320 has Automatic Headlights. But my switch doesn't have this selection. In fact, I have to manually turn them on and off. I find this pretty strange since my previous car (a 97 lexus) had this feature. When it got dark outside, the lights automatically turned on, then off when it was bright.

So what's the deal here? Does anyone else have a '02 E320 that has auto headlights? Why doesn't mine?

(I just bought it, by the way...it's not like I've had it since '02 and decided to read the manual...)

UMMMMMMM 2002 E 320 DONT HAVE AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHTS. THEY CAME ON 211 CHASSIES YOUR CAR IS A 210 CHASSIE

 

Hmm, maybe xl8rguy does have a W211. He doesn't mention where he is located, but if his E-class is a Euro spec and (late) 2002, it may as well be a W211.

Anyways, the auto headlight thing: isn't that something that can be (de)activated through Stardiagnose? Just wondering...
