Default rust on frame.. lame and weak but deadly?

yes.. some of you may of remember i was gonna get my E320 fixed until 1day i just decided to put it up for sale as a whole or part out. the reason for this is because there is some rust forming on the fram thats kinda under the engine. it looks like its been there for a while, i remember readign somewhere that rusted frame means the car is a rolling time bomb, can any1 confirm this? any information would be nice, can i ignore this problem and fix the fron end of the car or should i take this thing as a big problem.

how bad is the rust?..if its only 1 thin layer or so..you can remove it using a rust remover solution (you can find it in hardware stores and etc)..if the rust has eaten through the frame....well..lets just say you run over a pot hole and bam...but i doubt thats the case..usually satly roads in cold areas cause this. try it out and see. Good luck
