Default 2004 E320 Brake Pump Noise

I've had my E320 about a year and a half. I have a pump noise that happens when you first unlock the car, turn the car off, and can be heard while the car is running, especially when slowing down or turning (you can feel the vibration as well in the gas pedal. My dealership has tried to quiet the noise and now I've been told that it's just a "normal" sound the car makes. I don't believe that. It's very loud and friends ask me why my car is burping when I unlock it. It's too nice a car to have this problem. Any ideas on how to get this fixed? Plus, after 10,800 miles I just got a sign that I need brake pads. I'm a careful driver and went 55,000 miles on my SUV before needing brakes.

thanks

you can ask the dealer for you to drive test a car of the same model for comparison.
the noise is coming from the brake servo motor. it is a safety feature that the brake is being applied even with the ignition off. be careful that whenever you replace the brake pad yourself in the future, that nobody opens any door. the brake will actuate, and will either squeeze your fingers or the pistons will pop out from the calipers.

first observe if it was a motor or hydraulic noise.

that was a normal mileage for change oil.

sleepwalker & jonathanw. Without reviewing this forum, I posted in the newbie section the same problem. We just bought the car yesterday. And noticed the Same noise/vibration. I will keep you posted. But at least I'm narrowing down the problem. Hopefully they will work with me and it does not become a ignored nuisance.
