I replaced the smog pump in my car this weekend and initially it would not stop running even after I shut the car off. After roughly a day it stopped running after the car was turned off. I'm wondering if anybody had a similar experience after changing their pump. Also how would I go about shutting off the check engine light now that the pump is changed?
