anyone have a problem with starting their car?

recently my CLK320 doesnt want to play when I put the key in and try to turn it- it just wont turn and I dont want to force it.

any ideas?

As you have explained it seems like Electronics Ignition Switch is faulty.

 

My 2002 clk320 is garaged and rarely driven, still it started having intermittent starting problems then permanent one. The ignitions issue is as videoed. Key in ignition, lights on, new battery, once key is in second position the car coughs once. repeat.
months ago, it would start normal after 3 tries. As time progressed, it required more tries to start, and now it won't start. now, every 5th try, the engine turns 5 times then stops, then back to turning once to stop. The battery is new, and there is voltage to the starter but the voltage drops once cranked.
No change even after a new fob, new battery, new CPS, new battery clamps, and even if a battery is connected str8 to the connectors in the hood.
