I am doomed... i really need a Cl500. Help please
Hi,
I am inches away from buying what appears to be a very well looked after, low mileage 2001 CL500. No warning lights, suspension sits right, no rust that i can see, but there are so many computer controlled things that i cant spend all day flicking through the manual testing everything page by page...
So what are the items that I should look at as a priority please?
Thanks all....
I am sure once the car is purchased I will be here a lot...

Some key things
So u want to look at the main control and see if all the buttons work, also look at the navi of it is functional, I don't know how optioned your car is but if it has telephone installed try linking your phone up with it. As well as test the ABC system rise and lower the car a dozen times to see if it works properly. Check if all headlights turn on and look closely at the display if it is flickering you may need a bat, change. Omm if you still don't feel safe, take the car itself to Mercedes Benz dealer it is a flat fee of 220 I believe and they will check the car completely out, only thing they don't look for is fram damage. And be careful Mercedes will tell u all the problems big or small.
