the later model CL600 is fine, but that older one might start to give you headache too.

that model performs well.

if i have 12 pistons on my engine, i'd rather choose the one with 4 doors on it.

Becareful if it has no extended warranty, engine issues on a V12 CL 600 are costly. I know by experience. I have a 2002 but I was lucky to have a MB Extended Warranty.

Thumbs down 2007 Cl 600 wont start

So my 2007 cl 600 had multiple cylinder missfire, brought it to my local european shop in mexico cause mexican merc dealer wont take it in, they determined the driver side coil packs were bad and after testing them the car didnt start, proceded to replace the coil pack and car still wont start, i had both camshaft and crankshaft tested and both are ok, i have fuel pressure too and apparently injector signal is good as well (no real test to that other than I can hear the injectors pulsing) when we test the new coil packs we get a spark in all cylinders for about 3-4 seconds and then it cuts out, you then have to wait for a few minutes to try again because if you do it right away you get no spark whatsoever.

im using an autel maxiDAS scanner and I do not get any errors that would prevent the engine from starting, at this point im super depressed and dont know what to do now, any pointers????

Other members are correct about the early V12 models - cost of repairs are quite high and reliability goes down considerably with higher mileage. If you're considering this car, make sure to get a full PPI by an independent MB shop - this will give you a good sense of exactly what condition the car is actually in. Best of luck!

Yes, I was considering V12 also, but got a bit turned down after I read about the high repair costs and reliability as I'm looking to have a car for longer period of time.
