Default w202 Climate control a/c problem

Hey guys

This is my first time posting and I’m new to these forums! Oh! and I did do a search...

I have a 2000 C230k.
Ithas the dial ,non digital display Climate control

{problem}
I have the hvac switched on and the roll switches are the center for "auto" temp. Today was warm.. 82F and the a/c was automatically on. The air was blowing cold, but about 20 min into running the passengers vent turns to heat and the drivers stays to cold. I turned the switch for the pass side to full cold and no change. This will last some time. The problem doesn't change if the car is switched off and then back on.

Default RE: w202 Climate control a/c problem

Hello I have the same prob too. Except my passenger blows cold and the driver side blows warm. My brother is a certified Tech for Jeep, he went to recharge the freon, he said it was good pressure, fans are good no leaks, He thinks it is a sensor of some sort. I do not want to take to a dealor, so I am looking for some obd scanners to find the problem. We will see, no one here seams to no the problem.
