starting engine problem?

Default starting engine problem?

When i strat my car in the morning or when its been a while it has a hard time starting up is goes from 5rpm to 10.5rpm. i hear it struggeling itself to start up. i was wondering what is wrong with it, and what can i do. any ideas would be appreciated.

dirty throttle valve.

clean it.

it will surge twice or thrice upon starting...then everything went fine....right?

pull up the intake mannifold plastic cover. it's just a clip, so nothing to worry about breakage.

loosen the hose clamp on the air intake pipe... on air mass sensor.

now you will see 4 allen screws holding the throttle valve.... remove the two screws which holds the intake pipe.

spray with good amount of carb cleaner and wipe with cloth. you may open the butterfly valve so you can clean the edge well.

you're done.
