Hello,
I have a 2006 C230 sport and I need to chane the air filter(s). I changed the "CABIN" filter above the battery no problem.

I wish to change the intake air filter(s) but I'm not even sure if there are one or two and how to get to them. Do you have any instructions on how to locate and change the air filters on this vehicle 2006 c230 sport

i have bought this car for 14 days ago,and
i have following problems/questions ....

- gearbox problem: i seems sometimes to have some problems with the 2/3 gear
- tailgate problem after the tailgate was open for 24 hour, i can`t lock it anymore.. no funktion ( in the dashboard says ."tailgate open")

- a/c problem..... hot air i coming out, even it is on LOW in the display.
The A/C is filled up with Freon, and testes.

-navi : why can`t, you use an audio 50 aps from a E-class 211 to a c-class W203 ???

-oem cd-changer: witch tp/model fits to my car when useing Audio 50 aps
model?

-today i have Audio 20 aps model in my car... is it ploug and play when i want to shift the model to a audio 50 aps ? besides gps antenna ?

- is der any common known problems wich this model?

I need to replace the wing mirror indicator on a UK registered 2006 C180 Avantgarde but cannot figure out how to expose the 2 retaining screws on the original.
Any tips would be very welcome!!

Hopefully you can help me out with my problem.

Last weekend I had all 4 tyres changed on my C220 cdi, plus the ytracking looked at. When I left the fitters the ESP light came on, and has been coming on and going off randomly ever since. The fitters said it was coincenence and nothing to do with anything they did.

Can you advise as to what the prbolem might be, and how I can put it right.

Hello mate I have Mercedes C240 model 2001, since 2 weeks the car while I am driving breaks suddenly by it self then dashboard showing ESP error, it is happening while I am driving straight.
One machanic told me to replace brake light switch and I did, but the broblem still there also I replaced the battery and problem still there

 

I have a s203 270CDI from 2002 which is heavily smoking and running very irregular between 1700-2200 rpm's.
I suggest that the EGR system is blocked and want to repair/clean it.
In order to exclude other reasons I changed oil and all filters in the meantime. Do you have the repair instructions for me?? I hope that you can help me. Thanks

 

Hi,i hav c 200 cdi 55 reg and iam having problems with it starting,the glow plug light doesnt always light up when this happens it wont start.this always happens in the mornings,it has been in to a merc specialist and had the glow plug relay replaced it is still not fixed.i have been reading it could be the k40 relay?help. I have 2002 c320 wagon that has really been giving us hell the last two years with the same reoccuring problem. The car drives ok for about 10 to 20 minutes or less; then when you come to a stop light/sign, it shudders and dies out. I restart the car and as I slowly press on the accelerator it threatens to stop; until apply more pressure, then it jumps speed for awhile. then, the car starts to flutter and threatens to stop; most times it does and all kind of warnings appear on the screen. I can't drive it on the freeway, because it will die out; so on surface streets I have restart over and over to reach my destination. I have spent over $2500 so far with various MBZ independents; who keep playing guessing games as to what the problems is....crank sensors, battery, air flow sensors, etc....nothing corrects the problem and I notice the car really acts bad when it is very warm outside.....can anyone shed some light before we take a sledge hammer to this car. We desperately want to trade this vehicle in, but car will not make it to car lot without breaking down.
