Ignition? Electrical ?
So I have a 99 C280 and as of recently my ignition is messing up, I’ll put my key in and my steering wheel lock won’t engage. So I’ve disconnected my battery plenty of times Becuase my alarm also will go off randomaly but I was playing around with the controls by the steering wheel and I noticed that when turn on my wind shield wipers on my steering wheel lock engages and I’m able too turn the key. So WEIRD! Any ideas or solutions ?

Hello and welcome to the forum! I would suggest going through your electrical system to make sure that everything is correct. It sounds like you have a terminal or something that is getting the wrong input. Let us know if you have any other questions.
