Recently my 98 C280 started playing music from only the right front speaker, then the rear and a day later nothing at all. The head unit turns on and plays a CD but nothing comes from the speakers. Is there an amp that could be blown in the trunk? Do I need special tools to remove the unit if I choose? No music can be a killer. Been 3 days now....

the sound only come from the right front speaker, right? check the wires, make sure if it properly installed and sealed.
